INTERVIEW | Brad Knowles after Dons win over Dewsbury Rams

After a star performance in the middle of the park, Doncaster enforcer Brad Knowles was delighted to get the win over Dewsbury Rams on Sunday afternoon. Knowles, who was on the scoresheet during the 38-12 triumph, was hailed by Head Coach Richard Horne fo

For Knowles, it's all about doing his job for the team in the forward department. He believes the Dons are progressing each week as they hit six points on the Championship ladder.

"We had a game plan today. We wanted to build our sets well and ping them in bad ball. We knew what Dewsbury was about, and the game plan worked today. It's our job to get quick play the balls and win the pack; then the others can work off the back of that. As long we do our job going forward, the rest can score points.

"it's my first time scoring in three years, I've had to do nudie run three years on the trot so I'm buzzing to be honest with you. We have to focus on Widnes now, we can't take the foot off the gas. We have to keep pushing, doing what we're doing, and lift the intensity. Widnes will not want to lose at home, so we have to be ready."
